Greenhouse Gases

           Greenhouse gases are gases which has the capacity to trap going long wave terrestrial radiation in the lower atmosphere where they are largely concentrated, these gases are Methane, Nitrous Oxide, Water Vapour, and Co₂. They have the ability to increase the temperature of the Earth’s surface.

         Floods, Droughts, change in hydrological cycle, desertification are the outcome of today’s greenhouse effect. It has to depletion in biodiversity since Co₂ has increased rapidly.

        Thus observation says that global temperature has raised by 0.6°C in last 130 years and global sea level has increased by 10-15cm over past 100 years.
